Need Advice w/ No Till

So, I've aquired about 20 acres of good bottom land for rent that has been just growing wild for the last 15 years. I have a White 5100 planter with interplant units that I will be setting up for no-till beans. I don't have any tillage equipment and our neighbors have quit and sold their equipment. I'm currently going over the land with a rotary mower and leaving about 6" of stubble. Should I try and find a disk to run everything over and chop up the thatch or no till straight into it? I have my doubts this will disturb the soil much. There are a fair number of ant hills that I don't think the combine will like too much as well. I'm thinking a disk might help takes those out as well. Any words of wisdom? Should I plan on running something besides no till coulters next spring? Thanks,
