$800 Chevy 3500 Truck

I "need" a truck to pull my trailer/tractors to local shows, etc.. It seems I'll never be able to get the truck I want, with raising a family and all. So, I'm looking in the paper this morning and there's this '88 Chevy 3500(non dualy) for sale. It is a BARE bones work truck. No body damage, not too rusty, 3 speed auto trans, 350 engine, good windshield....$800. Drive train is solid/dependable. What gas mileage can I expect? What do you think? I'llbe trailering up to 12,000#. Glenn F.
