I don't know who complained about the picture but it was not me. The moderator can verify this I am sure. Frankly though, I am a little tired of it. Have any of you looked back to see the specific post being referenced? It reads: "You might like the new yt forum where you are a registered member and nobody can steal your name, or even the Ask Cowman forum. A pleasant change from the old maybe?" and is followed by the usual picture/link and the weather. It really has gotten to the point where every post is a free six inch ad for what essentially amounts to a competitor to YT. They have asked him to stop and, right or wrong, have done so in the public forum so that their position is clear. You have to remember that this is not a "farmers forum" and these people are not the "politically correct police" as someone suggested. It is a classic tractor and implement forum provided as a free service by a company that sells parts for same.
They have a right to draw a line in the sand regarding this issue and I am sure will ultimately follow through with this policy in all the forums. I think the "Ask Cowman" forum link was just the last straw. Howard and I are not friends. We have never met. I have never purchased anything from him. He has, however, taken his time to assist me when he could via e-mail and postings and I hope will continue to do so for me and others. Just expressing my opinion. That IS why it is called a forum, after all. If we all agreed on everything it would get pretty boring after a while.
