buzz Saw

Hello and thanks for recent replies.
I have a Sear buzzsaw AKA "Cordwood" saw. I have removed the
blade and retainers, but cannot figure out how to remove the shaft.
Both lockrings have been removed which reveal a collet type
locking mechanism. Has anyone had experience with this type of
bearing and or removal.Please only respond if you have had
experience removing a bearing from this type of saw. Both bearings
are mounted in each end of a tube and secured with collet type
locking.
