Coming from a painting background, If you get it blasted and the tractor isn't assembled, get the parts blasted individually. If you take the stuff to someone who does it for a living, they will have a blasting room and will know how to blast without damaging the parts(which should be finished with primer-filler anyhow). It's always better to paint and sand and buff with the parts off the machine,IMPORTANT-the parts will get covered inside and out, and the dust from sanding and compounding, and not to mention possible paint overspray, will not get on the frame, tires, etc. Don't listen to anyone who tells you differently, you'll be much happier with the finished product and it will last. The hard part is done, don't screw it up now by getting anxious.
