Glad to hear the 710 is a good one. Re penetration, the army 30-06 round with ball ammunition was supposed to penetrate 1/2 inch of mild steel(at less than 150 yards). With armor piercing ammo it was supposed to penetrate 1/2 inch of armor plate. Armor plate is high carbon steel like leaf springs. KEH
