Brian, until this message from you, you were sounding like a 15 year old kid who was expecting your tractor to be hauled 1000 miles for $100. I do not mean to be rude to you - that's just the tone your messages were giving to all of us. We have no idea what you consider high or low until you put a number on it. Shipping freight over 200 lbs is expensive, and over 2000 lbs is quite expensive. That's just the way it goes. If you hunt & search & are willing to wait, you ccan find a better deal than you got. However, to have it done profesionally, right now, will cost you about $2.50 a mile. You just can't run a good truck & trailer for less than that, with insurance & licences, etc. If you can find someone already making that round trip, and add your load to what already is being hauled, then it becomes much, much cheaper. But this requires waiting & searching for the oppertunity. In your other messages you seemed too juvinile & impatient to be bothered with any of that. Again, no offence intended. --->Paul
