Try finding 46+ year old parts for something other than the classic high volume model A, T, Ford 9N/2N/8N, 55-57 Chev or 1965 to 1970 muscle car. Precious little out there for any price.
More of those parts move than head gaskets etc for a JD model D

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
