Normal wheel tread track on the Fords 9N, 2N, 8N, NAA, 6XX, 7XX, 8XX, 9XX and Ferguson 20s, 30, 35, 40, 135, 150 are all at 52" and that is for plowing as well as for anything else except cultivating and then you adjust to fit the row you are working on. I would guess that you have about the space distance between the tires with your john deere as these Fords and Fergusons used a 11.2 - 12.4 mostly with a few 13.6 rear tire and I am guessing you have a wider rear tire than that something like a 16.9
