Thats an easy one. The rubber tip needles need to get a set in them to work as they should and over time they do get the set they need. But you can make them set before you put the carb back togeather. What you do is put in the seat and then put the needle in, then with something small like a flat punch etc just tap the need a couple times. That will put a set on the rubber end and should stop you problom with the leaking. Its still a good idea to turn off the gas when you shut the tractor down for the day/night. I got that from an old carb guy years ago, to bad hes long since gone
