I personally have a stihl and it has been a good saw so far. I have the 290 Farm Boss, wish I would of bought the 310 or the 390 as the 290 is more of a homeowner / farm version and it is little heavy for the HP. I do alot of reading over at arboristsite.com and have heard alot of good stuff about Dolmar. If you have a dealer in you area I would heavily consider one. Scott
