I don't think it would work too good if he still wanted to mow with it. It would rev a lot faster and would need a governer. Look at the tires on the Olds 35. Looks like they were spinning pretty good. Did you ever see the JCB backhoe with the dragster engine in it? Goes over 100 mph. JCB built it or had it made. There might be more than one but I can't recall the name of them. Dave
