I made sure to haul lots of manure on the feild the first year, just so they realized just what they were living next to. A few weeks ago the cows got out, and one of them yesterday told me they even had on in their yard. Didn"t bother them, they even had a few pies in the yard. Those kind of neighbors I really don"t mind, and I plan to keep friendly with as many as I can. I told a few of them if they pull out the old barbed wire I"ll take it when I get a chance and get rid of it myself. The golf balls isn"t all that bad, it could be worse. They have a basketball court next to our feild, and they usually mow a baseball diamond in the grass too. I"ve found several baseballs and tennis balls in the feild, and many golf balls. Now they"re mine to loose when I go to the greens with my dad and 4 brothers... I"m planning to move out to a smaller town (possibly Stockbridge) about 15 minutes away in the next county, where they have a minimum land purchase to build new, and not so many people are building out that way. I"d buy an existing house, and would like to buy an existing barn and some land to go with it too. As far as my pruning excapades go, if it were a tree that THEY would have planted, I would never think of cutting on it without permission, but these are just ones that grew in the fence row and never got trimmed back. I think pigs is a great idea there animal, just gotta let them know that it"s still an active farm behind them and they will have to tolerate a good deal of stink... Donovan from Wisconsin
