Here in rural Mo. neighbors are glad to see you clear a fence row, though we do contact them before starting. Most of the time they will be there to help. The one exception is some people that moved in from the St. Louis area, and had some brush (not trees) that were growing out so far in the road they blocked the vision on a curve of our public road. When one of the neighbor boys started to trim it back they told him they didn't want it cut and would call the sherriff if he kept on. It was on his property, but the road is one we and others have right of way on. For some reason, the brush died anyway a couple of weeks later. LOL.
