I hate to even get started on the neighbor thing, but I will anyway. Built my house 10 years ago, miles from town. Since then, there has been no less than 20 times where some sort of government official (police, EPA, health department, zoning folks, etc.) have shown up on my door following up a complaint by a neighbor down the street. Not one violation ever, and they always apologize for bothering me. The neighbor does it to everybody out here. Had to whoop her in court once to shut her up. Good thing is that she is old, and I think I"m gonna out live her. "Till then, I"ll mind my own business as always.
