The cab tractor is a McCormick GX50. 50hp,weighs around 5500# with the cab, loader, and filled tires. It"s too light to take a loaded wagon down the hill though. Has little to do with the brakes. On the dirt road I will lose traction and go for a ride. We love the tractor it it does most of what we need on 90 acres but my wife is always using it so I am likely to get a 75hp McCormick to do some of the bigger field work and move the Hay, etc. I find that I eat too many bugs on the open tractor when we are haying. The other tractor is indeed a 300U which is fun too. I do a lot of mowing and other odd jobs with it. No power steering so it gets tiring in tight areas. I often rake with a Super C and pull the wagon with an H ( on the flat ground).
