Bob gave you jamb up good advice. In a pinch I've soldered a copper penny over many a pinhole in a sump ( drained and properly fire proofed.. etc ) In lieu of that.. an external gas resistant pucky is your next best bet. JB weld is gas resistant once it is cured. So is jb-water weld white stick... It will even stick to gas-wet metal, aas well as other comercial 'gas tank repair' epoxies. Clen the area to shiny metal.. degrease, then whipe clean with alcohol, apply a good layer of pucky.. sand smooth after cureing.. Soundguy
