The grounsmasters came out in about 73 I think. I had an 88 ransomes that I sold because it needed a head gasket and the governor wasn't working properly. I was told from continental that I'd probably have to have the head shaved and a bunch of other stuff. It would have cost over $600 just for a head gasket. Not a bad engine when there good though. Dave
