Jake, I don't see any flat area on the shaft. Nor do I see any springs or clips. All I see is the rotor shaft coming up through the dust cover. Shaft has an cut or opening in the side of it. Looking inside rotor shaft it looks like something black and soft.
I'm about to take a sludge hammer to it. Talk about frustrating. Thanks
