Well since I have had both of those tractors I can say the 300 has a lot more power, live hyds and PTO weight is a good bit more so you also have better traction. Only problem is that if the 300 doesn't have power steering they can be a bear to steer, about the only problem I have ever seen on the 300. Both are good tractors but your compareing a 9N to a much bigger tractor. Now if you have said a 601 or NAA then they would be a close match.
