If the pump seal isn't leaking that stuff in the cooling system won't get to the bearing. I the pump seal leaked coolant to rust the bearing solid, the little of that evil brew that leaks won't be enough to loosen the bearing. There is ONLY ONE solution to this problem and that requires removing and replacing the pump with either a rebuilt or new pump. It might be in the same casting or another, that has to be determined with the pump on the work bench. Gerald J.
