It's sunny but cold just west of Rochester. Received only 1" or so here overnight. But a daughter who resides in a Buffalo suburb reported 10" of wet snow on the ground this morning. Power is out across the area from trees bringing down wires. She's been told to expect 5 - 7 days before power restored to her neighborhood. And winter is still 2 MONTHS away(!)
