Yeah...if you've got the feed! My steers are goin' to the auction today. - wrong time, wrong market, the whole works, but with no feed (and a tight budget to "farm" with) I can't afford to keep 'em. Last couple weeks, the market in E. Oregon / SW Idaho has dropped 15% or better on feeder steers. Cattle buyer I spoke with this morning said, "Nobody really knows what steers are worth right now". /Grumpyness off....I feel better now.
