Yep, winter is on the doorstep. Freeze warning tonight. Guess that will be the end of the tomatoes. I'm not sure if I'm sad about that or not. It's been a less than good year for tomatoes but I'd still like to get another week or 2 of picking (mostly picking and tossing this year). I've picked as late as November 3rd one year here in SW PA. In the past I've taken the air blast sprayer out before sunup and sprayed water to try to protect them from the frost. Don't know if it helped or not but at least you felt like you were trying. But this year I seem to be older and lazier so the sprayer will probably stay in the shed. Phil
