I agree with Michael S below, Two batteries in parallel will substantially increase the reserve capacity, and just act as a bigger place to charge up at the same rate as it would charge the standard battery. The issue that would concern me is the duty cycle of the winch motor (minutes on/minutes off) heating the motor with vastly longer runtimes can burn it up. (seen that happen several times) JimN
