YEp they sound a bunch better with the muffler , but ya need to add a littel bit more pipe to her and also a rain cap . Now if ya think that a 1066 is loud with a stright pipe Spend a week in a 4300 Transtar eagel with a three and a half Comeapart with the wick turned way up and have a 5 inch stright pipe up the side of the cab oh yea also had a jake brake on it and the other bad part was that IT WAS COLD OUTSIDE and had to run the truck at night to try and sleep . I could not get home fast enough to get to the parts store to get a new MUFFLER before i was completly deef .
