Probably the JD 50. I had my 1988 F-350 hooked to a gravity box this summer with about 6000 pounds of fertilizer in a greasy field that had just got rained on and it barely pulled it out. I know 20000 pounds would have been an achor. Those fords also have that cheap Borg warner 1356 transfer case in them and if you do too much with it its going to go bang! It is virtually the same case they use in the explorer and the ranger pickups. Trucks are ok for rolling down the road but not for pulling that much load. I know everybody does it but they never tell you about all the fixing either. The JD?
