Hi Pete, Yes, they can safely be turned to 160 hp. Standard was around 125-130 tho. This one is a '75 model 1066 and I bought it solely for the power. The only difference in the black stripes was that they were '76 models, which was the last year that the 66 series tractors were produced. Allan
