Hey Tim if you install that 390 check out the valve guides in that engine before you put it in.The Y block engines were valve guide eating suckers.On your 360 check compression,fuel pump, and check to see if the carb is running rich,also see if the power valve in carb is not leaking, also make sure the choke is coming off.Some day I would like to move back up in your area.Hope this helps have a nice day.Kurt
