Plenty of gas? Is the gas in the oil? No it does not mean the rings are shot! More than likely the diaphram in the mechanical fuel pump has failed and is pumping gas in the oil. The dilution of the oil causes the oil to pass off in blowby. Change the oil after replacing the fuel pump. Do not run until then!! Roger in Iowa
