They will shoot 23/4 inch shells but you will have problems with anything less than 3 1/4 dram equivalent powder. You probably could reload some good 23/4 inch light loads if you feel like getting into reloading. Make sure the o-ring is kept clean. It is under the fore end and the tube has to be kept clean.
