I did that with my new truck back in '03 when I bought it. I like it because you don't have to wax it down there and you can use a short handled bristle brush to scrub it. One down side though, I hit a deer last fall and ruined drivers side front fender and door skin and rear quarter panel behind tire. In fixing these items I lost the spray on liner from them and it is impossible to match because of "weathering" effect on the rest of the truck.
