The W-9's might not have c.i. but they had more horsepower at about 50 and bigger bore kit added more. Also the 9's came out in 39 or40 and the R's not until '49! Then the R's started breaking cranks and at 34/43 Hp . Lots more W-9's and WD-9's in western Kansas. Some LA's and later a few 80's, 820's and 830's. Very few MM's. Dad ran a WR-9 from '48 until nearly '80. I have it here in Iowa. Look in Tractor Photo's at left, search for rice and look for the 1947 WR-9. Roger in Iowa
