Hi Gang;
Ransomes were the largest plough manufacturer in England from the days of horse ploughs until the early 1980's.
This is a typical 2 furrow of the 1930 & 1940 era and accounted for the majority of sales in that period. Could be set at 10 or 12 inches wide by adjusting the beam/leg position on the frame (see the holes in the bar behind no.1 leg. Available with a wide variety of bodies to suit different soil types, and would plough from 4 to 10 inches deep according the to body fitted.
Very popular for ploughing matches today, either used with semi-modern or vintage tractors.
