WD40 used to use propane as the propellent. Better you should use your propane torch as a supplier of clean propane for starting. Go at it gently! WD40 lubricates for me about as well as plain kerosene, so nearly everything else I consider better lubricant. Keep a can of 10w motor oil and it will do most everything. Mix it with kerosene for penetration or use Kroil for a penetrant. It makes WD40 look like water or poorer. Gerald J.
