Ether based starting fluid is a lot more fun. Actually, it has another use that I learned about in the great north woods: It makes a pretty decent hydraulic cleaning solvent. It is volatile enough to get dirt off fittings, parts, whatever and then go away quickly. Just don't do it around exposed flames or in enclosed areas.
