Are you looking for a truck or a pickup? Around here a truck is a 2 ton or better, 1/2 tons through 1 tons are pickups... Since you said replace a Suburban, I'll assume a pickup... What are you doing with it? Right now I have a 3/4 ton Suburban, if I were to replace it with anything, it would probably be the same or an Excursion with Powerstroke... If a pickup, only choice would be a Dodge with Cummins...would consider a Duramax, but I wouldn't dare spend more than $13-15000, and the Duramaxes aren't available in that range. Pick up an 01 Cummins would be my suggestion for a pickup.
