Definitly you need to check the whose is whose . Sealed power aquired trw , then Federal Mogul (commonly known as federal mangle) bought sealed power , then bought Fel Pro ( all 4 lines ) and parted out what they didn't want . THEN they went after T & N ( a world wide company based in england ) which at the time owned clevite and McCord gaskets ( a much better gasket line than fel pro) . After aquiring T & N uncle sam told them they had to sell the clevite bearing line as that would have been a monopoly .They closed the McCord gasket line and sold the clevite line to Dana corp . FM either screwed up or ruined much of the aftermarket industry , Thank them for many of the parts for older tractors that you can no longer get. Clevite had been separate from trw for many years , I'm not sure how many so I'll leave it open rather than be wrong . george
