Nothing is selling much except cattle and high end horses. Great sales at Keeneland for top end thoroughbreds, saddle and show horse prices in the toilet. Hay market to go with it. It seems that everyone who raises some have has enough, mostly those that buy it are in the horse trade and they are evidentally holding cash until they have to have it. Fuel prices are the killer. With that said, realestate is all over the board, farm next to my main place just sold for 5000 an acre, up a full 2000 from what he paid for it two years ago. Farm next to my dads place 8 mils away just sold for double that. Development property is in the skids though, cant way over built. Rains have been plentiful and timely. Just estimated yields for a friend, his corn looks to be over 130 bu per acre (normal here is 135) and he planted June 20, 2 months late.
