Was this seeded this year? If so let it go so it will have good root
reserves. The top growth that the frost kills will help hold snow
cover in the winter to help shelter the crowns. I think I would do
this even if it is an older seeding unless you plan to rotate it out to
something else. I think if you cut it you will pay for it next year.
