I am at a lose here, what is your definition of restoration?? If you completely restore the tractor (even if it was given to you) you will have more money invested, not counting your time, than you could ever possibly recover when selling the tractor.

Then again, if you are talking about fixing oil leaks, repairing any and all mechanical problems, and then a complete paint job....You are still going to have more in the tractor than you can recover.

Value also depends on location, in my area a Case VAC, painted w/like new tires, running well would not even bring the current asking price..HTH
