Most "High Tempature" epoxies start loosing their bond at 400 deg. F. most general epoxies will start de-laminating in the 180-250 deg. F range . Since most exaust systems close to the engine run in the 900-1500 F range any epoxy is out of it working range.Better stick to brazing/muffler clamps in this application. Shawn
