SALE OF M-M TRACTORS IN ENGLAND

Bore da; Well known M-M collector Ray Bailey of Ruabon in North Wales sold the last part of his M-M collection on 26th August 2006. Ray had collected M-M items for many years, some of which he imported from America. All were restored nicely. Prices are in USS$ (conversion rate $1.85 to �1.00) 1959 M-M Four-Star $2,775 1955 Oliver 99 Super (GM 2 stroke diesel)$22,200 ? Oliver G1355 $24,050 ? M-M A4T 4wd $18,000 1971 M-M G1050 $11,100 1955 M-M UB Special $14,800 The EXTRA SPECIAL tractors were 2 WW2 imported M-M UT's which had been converted at the time with English built diesel engines, and are VERY RARE. UTS fitted with 46HP Dorman diesel $18,500 UDM fitted with 66HP Meadows diesel $42,550 Ray also included in his sale a large number of M-M implements, models, books & brochures. Cheers David

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
