I assume you want to just remove the bucket and two arms for now? If so, your suggestion is exactly right, but don't forget any of the hoses!
You're gonna say a few choice words when you go to put it back on again unless you are real lucky! Re-alignment of the pin holes is a tough job. Good luck and be careful!
