Allen I have a 1020 JD and like it alot. It is gas with upright exhaust. The ones I've seen for sale that look good run from 4500 to 6000. hope that helps. By the way get the upright exhaust. That way if you plow corn stalks they won't get hung up in low hung and catch on fire. Just a little tip LOL
