That is the #'s now lets see how you could be reading it or it is stamped wrong. 1) are you sure it does not say (Diamond)112438 This would be a 1956 and the diamond stands for cast-iron cylinder sleeves. 2) if you are sure it says 2112438 it is stamped wrong. Most likely a tractor built on a monday morning or a friday afternoon. There are other ways of figuring the year but this board moves to fast for that. If you are still having problems post your question on the Ford board of this site and we may beable to help you as that board moves a lot slower.
