Ray, Mad Electrical"s tech info section will give you a real education on the Delco 10SI & 12SI alternators and pros and cons of using the one wire hookup verses the 2 or 3 wire hookup. Another link also shows some one wire alternator repair and there is a place that make parts to convert alternators to 6V positive or negative ground also.
