The only problem that I can see, is if the tractor was stolen sometime in the past and reported as stolen. I know where I live, if I bought a car and if it was stolen, it would be returned to the owner that it was stolen from. I doubt that any stolen tractor would be found anyway. I would get a bill of sale for any current problems that may arise to be on the safe side.
