Man, I could tell you horror stories about the stuff that was in my wife's Grandparents house! NOTHING was thrown awy! Boxes of BOXES, empty film canisters, tire valvestem caps, hair they cut from the kids and kept, shoelaces, nylons, scraps of cloth, 9 gazillion nails and screws, when they needed a 7 1/2' 2x4, they saved the 6" that was left, old socks (one would wear out, kept the other), walnut shells, bobby pins, popsicle sticks, found jars of canned stuff in the basement that was canned in the 40's, I could go on for hours. Took us 6 20 yard dumpsters and 2 10 yarders to get rid of the trash before we even GOT to the good stuff!
