Yellow jackets and probably other bees and hornets leave a scent behind when they sting that tells all other members of their species to attack here! So after you get stung you need to wash off the scent they leave behind or your gonna get some more of that attention. My dad and I were skidding logs in the woods and upset a nest and they went after my dad. I was there too and (with gloved hands) picked them off him and crushed them as fast as they landed as we got out of there. I killed a bunch and they only went after him.
